At the last day of 2019, the journal "Discourse and Communication for Sustainable Education" published it second issue of 2019 edited by Prof. Dr. Johannes Lindner. The Journal of UNESCO Chair on the Interplay of Tradition and Innovation in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) at Daugavpils University, Latvia as well published a DOIT contribution.
The DOIT consortium is very proud that DOIT is invited to present the project and results within the "Social Innovation Seminar" organized by the European Research Council and the Research Executive Agency (European Commission): The DOIT coordinator Sandra Schön (Salzburg Research) will do the presentation.
On 14th of January 2020 our coordinator Sandra Schön (Salzburg Research) was part of an interactive set-up of digitalisation experts. Besides a short presentation of the DOIT project in front of 100 Austrian school directors and school operators, she hosted a workshop for all who has a bigger interest in the opportunities of social innovation in makerspaces.

On 25 and 26 November, the DOIT Salzburg team was invited to carry out a one and a half-day public training in the Grand Garage in Linz. The professional areas of the participants were diverse: teachers, project staff of foundations, employees of the city and the Grand Garage learned together methods and tools for innovation development with children and young people.
