On 25 and 26 November, the DOIT Salzburg team was invited to carry out a one and a half-day public training in the Grand Garage in Linz. The professional areas of the participants were diverse: teachers, project staff of foundations, employees of the city and the Grand Garage learned together methods and tools for innovation development with children and young people.
The DOIT project team from Salzburg took part in the Austrian Entrepreneurship Summit on 13 November 2019. The coordinator of the DOIT project presented the project, pilot activities and materials to around 50 teachers and students from the field of entrepreneurship education in a 15-minute presentation at our small booth.
DOIT participated again at the Mini Maker Faire in Salzburg. Children were asked to prototype smart IoT solutions to motivate bicycle usage or - the smaller ones - to design a bike of their dreams. We got inspiring results for our booth partner SimpliCITY as well.
Last week, the Austrian DOIT team already organised their second facilitator training in Austria, together with the University of Applied Arts Vienna, co-organised together with Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Ruth Mateus-Berr, leader of the Center for Didactics of Art and Interdisciplinary Education.
