On May 15, Salzburg Research received a visit from children from a kindergarten nearby. 13 kids got an insight into the work of DOIT!
Sandra Schön, co-ordinator of the DOIT project (Salzburg Research), was asked to take part within a panel discussion at the international re:publica in Berlin - "The Most Inspiring Festival For The Digital Society".
Once again this year the long Night of Research will take place in the TechnoZ event centre on the 13th of April 2018. Universities and research institutions throughout Austria are opening their doors to make research tangible.
At DOIT’s project meeting we had also a visit of 14-year-old Sacha from 7th grade at the Billund School. Sacha was visiting to answer questions about the things that motivate her and what demotivate her. The visit should highlight some of the challenges that students can face today in the form of teaching.
Cardboard, lenses, tape and a few pens: how to create a dream world in 3D from these things? Children could experience this at the DOIT stand at the MakerDays in theStadt:Bibliothek Salzburg!
