Workshop @ Makerdays Salzburg

During the School Makerdays from 8th to 9th of November, our partners from Salzburg Research had the opportunity to present various making activities to a group of interested educators and to explore them  together.

After an introduction on how making can be integrated into children's education and how social innovation and entrepreneurial education can be promoted, the participants were able to work on some projects. There was the possibility to try out different tools, e.g. the Makey Makey, which is used to build the talking trash can. We also worked together on other small projects, e.g. an LED greeting card or a glowing LED wristband. We are pleased about the growing interest in making activities with children and are pleased to be able to pass on our DOIT approach. The facilitator workshops offer a great opportunity to bring interested educators closer to the topic.
