In cities, especially in their centers, there are more and more buildings, and less houses and areas where healthy food could be grown. The idea of a three-member team of 5th grade pupils from Elementary School Vladimir Nazor in Pisarovina is to encourage tenants to use the space next to their buildings to work together in gardens and produce healthy food. If this project is launched, the buildings that will be built in the future will have an area intended for growing food, and when apartments are bought or rented, each tenant will have a part of the area for food production.
The idea was created as part of the DOIT pilot project, phase 5 during workshops on April 25th and 26th, 2019 at the elementary school in Pisarovina. The theme of the workshops was to find creative solutions to social problems that students recognized.
