On the first day of the DOIT project workshop, we got the impression that the kids had a hard time knowing what was going to happen during the day, which made them a little unsettle and unfocused.
Remembering something from our studies, we proposed to the other facilitators that we would write the schedule for each day in a simple manner on the billboard, visible to the kids. And we did the following mornings, though we sometimes would go into much detail and other times not do it beforehand the welcoming part.
We got the sense that the kids had an easier time knowing what is going to happen next because they were more focused. Also, some of the children would even correct us if we got too far in the schedule.
